A Letter from the President: We are pleased to announce the 2007-08 season of the Lakeland Performing Arts Association (LPAA) and to ask your support for this series of five performances. As detailed on the inside of this brochure, another terrific lineup of artists has been engaged for your entertainment. The LPAA season ticket price remains at $50 and represents one of the best entertainment values in northern Wisconsin. Even more affordable is the Family season ticket for only $105 – that's $5 more than the cost of two adult tickets! Our Snowbird subscription remains at $40 for three concerts of your choice. However, you must now choose the three concerts when the subscription is purchased, allowing us to better anticipate our seating needs. For the first time in our 25-year history, it was necess Since ticket revenues cover only 60 percent of our expenses , we ask you to consider becoming an LPAA sponsor; and if already a sponsor, to consider moving up one level . We rely on the contributions of those who consider it important to bring quality performing arts to the community. Please involve yourself at one of the levels of sponsorship shown on the application form. LPAA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Amounts above the cost of a season ticket are tax-deductible --- and can be enhanced through corporate matching grants. As an additional benefit, LPAA season ticket holders may attend concerts free-of-charge under reciprocity arrangements with performing arts programs in Antigo, Medford, and Merrill. Details of these programs can be found on the back page of this brochure. In addition to the usual details regarding our offerings and subscription plans, our website now provides links to the websites of each of our performing artists, as well to those artists performing at each of our reciprocal concert venues. We also continue our agreement with Lakeland Union High School to offer LPAA season ticket holders the opportunity to attend the school's fall and spring plays at no charge. Show any LPAA membership ticket for admission to performances. Please fill out the membership form and send it to us with your payment as soon as possible. Your tickets will be mailed prior to the opening concert on October 5, 2007 Sincerely yours,
Roger E. Ganschow, President LPAA Board of Directors |
